What is the cost for my school district to participate in GLOW with Your Hands?
The GLOW with Your Hands committee recognizes and understands the financial hardships of our local school districts and are already actively fundraising to allow all GLOW schools to send students at no cost to the district.
How many students are permitted to attend from each school district?
Schools will be permitted to bring up to 40 students in Grades 8 & Above and 2 - 3 school chaperones. The purpose of the student/chaperone cap is to allow all districts the opportunity to participate in GLOW with Your Hands. With this being the inaugural year of the event, we hope to keep the numbers manageable and grow the event over time.
Is lunch provided for students and chaperones?
Lunch, water, and snacks will be included for all GLOW with Your Hands participants and lunch will be served at the event site. Schools will be notified of the lunch menu as we get closer to the event date. Due to the size of the event, we will NOT be able to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities and event attendees may be required to bring a packed lunch.
